People always like crêpes made with ham and cheese. But make them with bacon and cheddar and you'll quickly turn “like” into “love”.

ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 5 slices Olymel Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) old Cheddar cheese, grated
  • if needed canola oil
  • 90 ml (1/3 cup) milk
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, ground
  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 slices Olymel Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • 250 ml (1 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml (1 cup) old Cheddar cheese, grated
  • if needed canola oil
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) milk
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, ground
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 15 slices Olymel Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) old Cheddar cheese, grated
  • if needed canola oil
  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, ground
  • 21 ml (1 1/2 tablespoon) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 20 slices Olymel Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • 500 ml (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 500 ml (2 cups) old Cheddar cheese, grated
  • if needed canola oil
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) milk
  • 2 pinches cayenne pepper, ground
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 15 mL (1 tablespoon) of sugar
  • 180 mL (3/4 cup) of milk
  • 250 mL (1 cup) of flour
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
  • 250 mL (1 cup) of strong cheddar, grated
  • 10 slices Olymel Bacon, cooked and roughly chopped
  • Canola oil

instructions

  1. Beat eggs in a bowl with sugar and milk. Add flour gradually with pinch of cayenne pepper, stirring till mixture is smooth.
  2. Heat a little oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Pour in crêpe batter in large spoonful.
  3. Use spoon to spread batter if necessary. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until crêpes are nicely browned. Garnished each crêpes with the bacon and cheese. Roll and baked at 375°F (190°C) until the cheese is melted.
