For a quick and super easy appetizer, make these croutons with pork smoked meat, grapes and brie! You won't believe how incredibly delicious they are.

  • 7 ml (1/2 tablespoon) olive oil or melted butter
  • 75 g brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 slices multi-grain or whole wheat breads, toasted
  • 6 red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 4 slices (75 g) cooked pork smoked meat
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil or melted butter
  • 150 g brie cheese, sliced
  • 4 slices multi-grain or whole wheat breads, toasted
  • 12 red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 8 slices (150 g) cooked pork smoked meat
  • 22 ml (1 1/2 tablespoon) olive oil or melted butter
  • 225 g brie cheese, sliced
  • 6 slices multi-grain or whole wheat breads, toasted
  • 18 red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 12 slices (225 g) cooked pork smoked meat
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) olive oil or melted butter
  • 300 g brie cheese, sliced
  • 8 slices multi-grain or whole wheat breads, toasted
  • 24 red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 16 slices (300 g) cooked pork smoked meat
  • 8 thin slices Old fashioned smoked ham, about 150 g
  • 4 slices multi-grain or whole wheat bread, toasted
  • 12 red or green grapes, cut in half
  • 150 g brie cheese, sliced
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Brush the slices of bread with the olive oil or melted butter.
  3. Place the bread slices with the buttered side facing down on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  4. Place smoked ham slices on bread, add grapes and cover with cheese. Add pepper to taste.
  5. Cook in oven for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted and bread is crunchy.
