Dates and bacon bites

So it's your parents' 25th anniversary? We've just celebrated our 25th, too! When you pass the hors oeuvres, make sure to include these date and bacon bites with their irresistible sweet & salty taste. Opposites attract!
ingredients
- 250g of dates
- 1 pack (375 g) of naturally smoked bacon
- 100ml honey
- A few sprig of rosemary
instructions
- Cook the bacon in the frying pan until mid-point of cooking, sponge the bacon with a paper towel, then cut each slice in two.
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (178 °C). Wrap each date with a slice of bacon, insert a branch of rosemary inside and hold in position with a toothpick.
- Place each bite on a plate covered with aluminum foil or parchment paper and brush with honey. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes
