  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) butter
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) sweet potatoes, finely diced
  • 6 Olymel Original wieners
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) 35% cream
  • 2 1/2 ml (1/2 teaspoon) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) butter
  • 750 ml (3 cups) sweet potatoes, finely diced
  • 12 Olymel Original wieners
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) 35% cream
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoon) butter
  • 4 1/2 cups sweet potatoes, finely diced
  • 18 Olymel Original wieners
  • 90 ml (1/3 cup) 35% cream
  • 7 1/2 ml (1/2 tablespoon) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter
  • 6 cups sweet potatoes, finely diced
  • 24 Olymel Original wieners
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) 35% cream
  • 10 ml (2 teaspoon) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 8 to 12 Olymel Smoked Sausages
  • 750 mL (3 cups) of sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 30 mL (2 tablespoons) butter
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 5 mL (1 teaspoon) of fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) of 35% cream
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

instructions

  1. Place sweet potatoes in a large pan, cover with water, add salt and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, then drain.
  2. While sweet potatoes are cooking, preheat the BBQ to medium-high heat and grill sausages.
  3. Melt butter in pan used for sweet potatoes and sauté onion, garlic and ginger. Add sweet potatoes to pan and mash. Add cream, with salt and pepper to taste.
