A ham waffle sandwich… that'll get people talking around the table come breakfast! Of course, since everyone will have their mouths full, it'll probably be pretty quiet.

ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) maple syrup
  • 40 ml (3 tablespoon) milk or cream 15%
  • 150 g (6 slices) Olymel sliced ham
  • 4 store-bought round waffles
  • 150 g cheddar cheese, slices
  • 2 curled lettuce leaves
  • 4 talks of chives, chopped (optional)
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoon) butter
  • 1/2 tomato, thinly sliced
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) maple syrup
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) milk or cream 15%
  • 300 g (12 slices) Olymel sliced ham
  • 8 store-bought round waffles
  • 300 g cheddar cheese, slices
  • 4 curled lettuce leaves
  • 8 talks of chives, chopped (optional)
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) butter
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • 12 eggs, beaten
  • 90 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) milk or cream 15%
  • 450 g (18 slices) Olymel sliced ham
  • 12 store-bought round waffles
  • 450 g cheddar cheese, slices
  • 6 curled lettuce leaves

  • 90 ml (1/3 cup) butter
  • 1 1/2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 16 eggs, beaten
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup
  • 160 ml (3/4 cup) milk or cream 15%
  • 600 g (24 slices) Olymel sliced ham
  • 16 store-bought round waffles
  • 600 g cheddar cheese, slices
  • 8 curled lettuce leaves
  • 16 talks of chives, chopped (optional)
  • 120 ml (1/2 cup) butter
  • 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 75 g (3 slices) Olymel ham
  • 2 store-bought round waffles
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 20 ml cream or milk
  • 75 g sliced cheddar or other cheese of your choice
  • ¼ tomato, sliced
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 2 stalks of chives, chopped (optional)
  • 15 ml butter
  • 15 ml maple syrup
  • salt and fresh ground pepper

instructions

  1. Toast waffles and keep warm.
  2. In a bowl, mix eggs with cream or milk and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Melt butter in a pan and cook eggs over high heat to make an omelette.
  3. Brush waffles with maple syrup and assemble the sandwich with cheese, ham, omelette, tomato slices and lettuce.
