If there's one dish that brings people together better than any other it's lasagna. Post an invitation on Facebook and make an enormous lasagna with Italian sausages… and rent some very long tables!

ingredients

  • to taste pepper
  • 750 ml store-bought Marinara sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste nutmeg, freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed chili pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 package lasagna pasta already cooked or ‘'Direct to oven'' lasagna
  • 75 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 150 g mozzarella, grated
  • 125 g spinach
  • 2 egg whites
  • 250 ml tomato juice
  • 475 g ricotta cheese
  • 5 Olymel European Sausages Mild Toulouse
  • to taste pepper

  • 1/10 teaspoon crushed chili pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 1/2 packages lasagna pasta already cooked or ‘'Direct to oven'' lasagna
  • 115 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 225 g mozzarella, grated
  • 185 g spinach
  • 3 egg whites
  • 375 ml tomato juice
  • 725 g ricotta cheese
  • 8 Olymel European Sausages Mild Toulouse
  • 5 Olymel Italian Spicy sausages 450 g (or your favorite flavour)
  • 750 ml of marinara sauce
  • 250 ml of tomato juice
  • 475 g of ricotta cheese
  • 1 box of lasagna pasta already cooked or "Direct to oven" lasagna
  • 125 g of spinach
  • 150 g of mozzarella cheese gratted
  • 75 g of parmesan cheese
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¼ tablespoon of crushed chili pepper
  • ¼ tablespoon of dried origano
  • Nutmeg freshly ground
  • 10 g of fresh basil chopped
  • Ground pepper to taste

instructions

  1. Boil sausages during 10 minutes, let cool, cut in wedges and put aside.
  2. Blanch spinach in boiling water, let cool, drain well and chop. In a bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, egg whites, chili, basil, origano, nutmeg, pepper, 50 g of mozzarella and 35 g of parmesan. Mix well and put aside.
  3. In a gratin dish, alternate layers of sauce and pasta, spread the layer of cheese in the center and the sausages at the end. End with the balance of mozzarella and parmesan. Add 250 ml of tomato juice (for "Direct-to-Oven" lasagna), bake in oven at 350˚F (177˚C) during 45 minutes and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Suggestion

Serve with tomato sauce and fresh basil bouquet.
