ingredients
- 2 Olymel Pork Chimichurri Flank Steaks
Chimichurri Sauce:
- 1 1/2 cups olive oil
- 1/4 cup wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup finely chopped French shallots
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, or more to taste
instructions
Chimichurri Sauce:
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Set aside.
Flank Steaks:
- Preheat the BBQ to 260°C (500°F) over medium heat. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes over direct heat, turning regularly.
- Check the internal temperature with a thermometer and ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 65°C (150°F). Avoid overcooking, as it will dry out the meat.
- Let it rest, then slice into strips and serve with the Chimichurri sauce.
