Waldorf salad with bacon

The very first Waldorf salad was created at the celebrated Waldorf Hotel in New York City. In Quebec, we think that everything goes better with bacon, so we decided to add some. Now that's what you call International Fusion cuisine!
ingredients
- 6 slices of Olymel bacon
- 2 apples, sliced
- 250 g walnut
- 100 g Cheddar cheese, diced
- 2 celery stalks, finely sliced
- 75 ml fresh parsley, minced
- 50 ml mayonnaise
- 30 ml olive oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
instructions
- Cook the bacon slices according to the instructions on the package and thoroughly sponge them on a paper towel.
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Correct seasoning and serve.
